- Is that a 'hand' pete?
- I thought Pete was building the Death Star!

- Yes! And a pistol. I keep losing this game so a little distraction and entertainment.

- Death Star would've been cool!

- Is Rabid out of the game? Cheeky to ask but curious.

- Yes I believe so. I thought you were too but see a couple of generators suddenly appear. I've haemorrhaged units trying to advance towards FoN as his forward snipers are picking my men off 2 or 3 every turn!

- Thanks for the info. I was waiting for Rabid to attack me. I think he may have done a suicude attack at the same time as I clashed with FoN. My artack on FoN failed. You may see more generators appear, you never know.

- Darn it! I could have taken over your lovely palace.

- I took it over but it was damaged badly in the fighting. Since then FoN and I have destroyed it. There is a big No Man's Land between myself and FoN now which he is defending too well!

- Well I might move into Rabid's place. My old neighbourhood is too dangerous.

- You're welcome to it. The plumbing is a nightmare though.

- Thanks, I'll bring buckets.

- It looks like you are actually moving into my old place in the top left. That wasn't Rabid's. I should have left someone there to keep the lights on. I'm going to be the meat in the sandwich now.

- You can tell I wasn't paying attention in this game. Too busy doodling the hand of doom and that pistol. I don't think at present I'm much of a threat. FoN made minced meat of my clones, few escaped. I'm still unsure of the tactics and best strategy for this mission. Though fun factor is high.

- I'm not entirely sure myself. Rabid being Rabid likes to attack early usually. FoN being FoN is an opportunist, patiently waiting for an advantage to appear. I tend to rely on counter-attack but can attack early. I rarely play very defensively though in colonisation games probably because I get bored just waiting turn after turn. I might try it for a change in an underground colony game.

- I tried in the other game of being elusive but the downside was it wore my engineers out. This needs some thinking. I've not yet managed to storm FoN's or Rabid's bases. In fact I'm getting pummelled badly in each game. It's an unusual mission though I like it a lot.

- First time I won this mission. What an epic, the hand gun empire, the rise, the fall and the rise again. I thought FoN you had the strongest fortress but it was interesting to see Xeno bloom later in the game occupying a larger part of the map.

- I under-estimated your strength Pete. I allowed you to camp nearby and didn't attack you, concentrating on FoN. You bided your time and built up a force I didn't expect.

- I wasn't going to attack you so early but you sent some curious troops in so I thought I couldn't stay dormant any longer. The plan was to send those troops of mine south to reclaim my old territory, then attack FoN's fortress. First time doing a runner paid off.

- Epic. Xenon you put up a monumentous fight, I pretty much used all my troops to get you, but that left an exhausted bunch for Pete, and yes he had a full squad. I thought I had destroyed him early on and kept thinking he was just hiding in some corners of his old base. I advanced too slow on Pete I think. Well played to you.
- Your outer defences FoN defended tenaciously and I was really losing men, to the extent that I had to start defending myself. But it seems you were hurting too because your counter stopped and I was able to advance towards your base. Yet I couldn't attack in sufficient numbers, was worried about Pete emerging so had to keep some back which he soon overwhelmed, while the small force I sent south you dealt with effectively. Will have to be careful in future about allowing refugees to move in nearby. ;)
