I read here the fov is 90 degree. How do walls block the view? #=wall, @=guy, +=view

it removed some spaces in b). b) shows the view spreading in 90 degree as soon as it leaves the tunnel.

It's difficult to say without setting it up in the game itself (and some missions have thinner walls which make it more difficult). However, it uses the 3D models themselves to determine what can be see, so if there is a clear field of view from the centre of a unit to the centre of a target, it will be seen. I'm going to add a new feature to the client that will show which squares a unit can see.
