Based on my form you are still likely to win if unarmed.
I was a bit lucky, that's for sure. Maybe he was a bit stunned by the grenade.
Right you are, Steve; cheers. :-)
Hi Chris, I'll have a look, but I might struggle to have time tonight, it might well be tommorow morning. Leave it with me and I'll see what I can find.
Steve, help! I spent ages selecting stuff for my guys on the webapp, and it all still seemed to be there when I ran the client in order to deploy them. Now, though, I go to take my first turn and they haven't got a bean! If this had been a one-to-one, I might have just shrugged and carried on anyway, but doing so here isn't fair to xeno. Is there any way of restoring my gear without making everyone else restart, or is a rollback the only option?
Oh well, that was kind of Karmic (playing as the Psychic I'd literally taken advantage of a Cleaner's shot not being on-target at that exact same point), so I can't complain. Definitely still worth the gamble, though...
"...ONE of the Cleaners...", even.
Thank you. :-) Against a lot of opponents, killing on of the Cleaners is enough, because it takes them a while to suss out that they can't close off all the Psychic's avenues of escape one man down. But that was some clever positioning on your part, which meant it came down to the knife-edge question of whether your no.3 could get off one on-target shot through a narrow gap. Luckily for me, that wasn't the case!
Well done, Chris:)
The direct approach is what has worked for me in the past! But like I say that's usually because I've been up against residents who are trying to be sneaky rather than brazening it out, so there's been no need for sneakiness myself! I guess I should have been more alive (as it were) to the fact that your tactic was working and altered my own gameplay, rather than just assuming you'd ultimately be overwhelmed by my sheer numbers (which of course you weren't, because you were consistently effective in keeping those numbers down). In short, your lesson is learnt!
You were very direct as in heading straight for my team and not using cover. Which to your credit is how a zombie would fight. Knives and one precious sword helped. I play for fun. Mostly I lose.
Nope, no good came of that for the zombies...
I've played this mission several times as both the zombies and the residents. The "strategy" for the former, such as there is one, is just "be relentless", but for some reason it had never occurred to me (nor anyone else I've seen play that side, seemingly) how effective simply taking the fight to the former (as opposed to hiding/running away) could be for the latter. I can?t believe that you won every one of your hand-to-hand encounters, for example! Oh well, you've taught me something valuable here - cheers. :-)
Not doing me much good so far, but we shall see...
You make an excellent zombie.
Brutal...
