- A question to anyone. Does the game log record all enemy deaths? I just wondered how it works because some demised enemy units are absent. Vapourised enemy in AP100 attacks seem not to get logged.

- They should be. Has anyone else ever found that a unit's death is not logged?
- I swear in this game I killed Rabid's unit 2 Recruit Grim with an AP100. I saw the body. There are no enemy deaths recorded. It seems mostly grenade attacks that are left out but in other games shot enemy have been absent too. Having an idea of enemy numbers is important to me and VP's in many missions remain at zero.

- The body has disappeared or I was mistaken. But the phenomenon has definitely occured in previous games.

- Maybe when the body isvapourised by a grenade, it fails to register? You definitely grenaded him though!

- Thanks for confirming my kill! I was beginning to doubt myself. You are definitely right about the vapourised units. With absent shootings I don't remember whether explosives were involved or not. I will keep an eye on that. With game logs some of my kills are recorded some not. I never used to bother with game logs but info/ intel can make a difference. Hunting an already killed unit is inefficient and can risk losing a unit.

- Hi Rabid, so is your dead unit missing from your game log too?

- Just a quick note. When I played with petermock, I saw dead bodies lying around after my shots, but the fact is that they have remained alive. It was very confusing. Actually the units were standing in a smoke cloud.

- I don't believe it! Not expecting to find Sterner. I was wandering around the house because I wanted my man to survive. I shot Sterner close range with my autocannon. You had full armour and I had Techno. I didn't even get a scratch!

- I don't know if this is what you mean, but the in-game log only records deaths that your units can see die. So, on the screen you might see bodies after a grenade explosion, but you won't have any record of them dying, you just have to remember. I'm pretty sure I've never seen a body vapourised though, and the post game log should have a record of every death...

- You've cracked it Jez! It was the in game log I was talking about. The unseen bodies by my men would account for the gaps in the game log. Thanks. Steve can relax, no fixing required. Sorry Steve for the worry. Vapourised men, I meant after an AP100 explosion there sometimes isn't a body graphic.

- typo. I agree unseen deaths by my men = gaps in the log.

- That's what I mean, I don't recall bodies being vapourised, just weapons/equipment.

- Well you've fixed my problem so we can leave the vapourised bodies in my imagination.

- I have a habit of not registering things, so I could be wrong!
