- its funny how the rebelstar map was not really fun to play, this works much better.. http://www.angelfire.com/retro/carcass/mb2.gif I never saw this map when playing laser squad on the C64.

- I agree. The original Rebelstar, the enemy robot side had a huge amount of units to defend the large map. And I think the Laser Squad side got reinforcements later in the game. It was a truly epic game. But for our purposes I think your New Moonbase has the better map size (not too big), the right amount of room/corridor complexity in relation to unit numbers.

- I can't remember that specific rebelstar map on the Spectrum Laser Squad either. Where did come from? Unti you did on here I had never seen it before.

- I really enjoyed this game. I am convinced now beyond doubt that the attackers have it easy. Removing a few cpu's would help. But not too many, just thin them out. So there could be still some near the entrances to entice the attackers, just less. I would also give the defenders more credits. 100? If 2 more defending blobs could be added that would help but I guess that might be hard to do. I would like to try the defenders to test the map further.
