I'm just wondering what other peoples opinion is on a sort of accumulative shot accuracy system. What I mean is a system when a shooter receives a bonus % chance to hit on a 2nd or 3rd (etc) shot fired consecutively without moving. I don't know how difficult this would be to program, but I think it would make firing a lot more realistic as obviously a shooter would naturally adjust his aim making each shot fired increasingly more likely to hit his intended target. I think this system is used in X-Com if I remember correctly. What do people think?
Yeah ideally it would be for a single specific target, but I'd happily take an accuracy bonus as long as the unit firing doesn't move. It would still represent the shooter adjusting himself into a more efficient firing position during sustained firing.
This sounds like a good idea. I'll add it to the list. I assume that the unit is allowed to adjust their angle of shot, just not allowed to actually turn or move (or do anything else really)? The only minor "drawback" I can see to this is what are the chances of a target still being visible from one turn to the next!

True it doesn't happen all that often, but when it does it would be a very welcome bonus! :)
